Canon Consulting &
Engineering Co., Inc. was established in 1983 as a roof consulting and
engineering resource directed to the service of Owners, Architects, Engineering
Firms, Plant Engineers, and Building Managers. Our goal is to provide state-of-the-art
service to our clients in this most perplexing field of Engineering.
Richard (Dick) P. Canon, who founded the
company, has over 35 years of diverse experience in engineering. This includes
the evaluation, testing, design and construction of roofs and the construction,
evaluation, renovation and structural design of buildings. He is a registered
structural engineer (PE) and has extensive experience in component failure
investigations, and evaluations of structures and systems. Mr. Canon
has been identified and qualified as an
The Roof Consultants Institute, (RCI), has recognized him as a Registered
Roof Consultant (RRC) and awarded him Fellow of the Institute and the Herbert Busching Award for “meritorious service and outstanding contribution to the
advancement of the profession of roof consulting”. He is also
an active member of the International Code Council (IBC). |
